Following last week post: 15 Isabel Marant must-haves in the sale, some of you asked me to come up with a selection of more affordable fashion must-haves.
Hush is one of my favourite online brands (see mood board I did last year) and if you live outside the UK, you may not be familiar with the brand but trust me, it will soon become your go-to-brand for comfy cashmere jumpers, gorgeous PJs and all-around stylish loungewear. Read on…
Hush must-have #1:
This cashmere V neck jumper (
£170 now £100) is one of my guilty pleasures since I have been totally forbidden by Steve, to wear any of his cashmere jumpers. The thing I like about this is one is that it’s not too tight fitted. It has the upsides of feeling like a boyfriend jumper while being better fitted for women.
Hush must-have #2:
This ecru Plough stitch jumper (
£80 now £50) was one of my fav this season. It’s a nice colour to wear at weekends and it goes perfectly with these Amie joggers. I love this Luna jumper too!
Hush must-have #3:
Breton tops never goes out of fashion so if you don’t own one yet, you can’t go wrong with this stripe jumper (
£75 now £50)
Hush must-have #4:
I’m also a huge fan of this long Nina cardi when you want extra cosiness or hide your bum. Wear with with a belt over faux-leather leggings (these ones from Mango are £9.99 in the sale!).
COATS & JACKETS
Hush must-have #5:
Hush has always a great selection of coats and jackets and one of my fav is this Fire parka (
£170 now £120) which is becoming one of their key pieces. This season, Hush changed the faux fur hood to a striking red. This is the second-best parka I’ve seen after the one, my sister got over 16 years ago. The Hush’s parka has a nice, distinctive, military cut, plenty of pockets (always useful with toddlers in toe) and both the hood and lining are detachable so you can wear it throughout the year.
Hush must-have #7:
Sadly their Jet leather jacket is not in the sale so my last selection from their coats and jackets sale will be this Michelle coat (
£190 now £120) for its timeless cut and sophisticated style which is also available in camel – a classic piece!
Hush must-have #8:
For those who wear sequins all year long like me (great feel-good trick you should try!), this sequin dress is a great party piece and I love the thin straps…very feminine.
Hush must-have #10:
If you in need of something more formal, this Anastasia dress (
£65 now £50) is perfect!. Lovely neckline, elegant, understated but chic, i’t s a big winner in my book.
Hush must-have #11:
A PJ from Hush was the first piece I bought from them years ago and to this date, it is still the place where I get my nightwear once I need a new pyjama. I have this vintage rose pyjama trousers (
£30 now £15) It is also available as a 2-piece pyjama but I like the fact they offer the flexibility to customers like me that tend to wear a tee-shirt and boyfriend jumper instead.
Hush must-have #12
For something sexier than comfy, I’m loving this beautiful silk piped pyjamas (
£150 now £100)…so soft and stylish.
Hush must-have #13
Sheepskin boots (
£95 now £65) have been a must-have in our franco-kiwi household for years. I rarely wear mine outside the home except at weekends when I need to get a pint of milk to make Mila’s pikelets but I LOVE wearing them at home as sleepers.
