In need of some bathroom inspiration? Read on…
During my last trip to London, I went to check the newly renovated C.P. Hart showroom in Waterloo (South London) and was, surprised how stunning the building was (still trying to find out the name of the Architects) but I was also amazed by the bathroom designs on display.
I’m a tactile person so being able to touch and get a feel of the K | Stone collection designed by Peter Jamieson, which is also exclusively available to C.P. Hart in the UK, was the cherry on the cake.
I had checked a few high-end bathroom showrooms including C.P. Hart showroom in Chiswick when we renovated our home in London and re-designed this now completed tadelakt bathroom, but never realised they had an amazing contemporary bathroom collections in their portfolio.
As I’m about to embark on two new bathroom projects, I’m re-visiting my notes to share with you some of my favourites and provide you with some major bathrooms inspiration…
THE FEEL COLLECTION
British Designer Peter Jamieson designed 8 collections for K | Stone which is a German based company and incidentally, a leading name in the stoneware and ceramics industry.
I’m especially fond of this range because it has an incredible velvety matt finish which feels wonderful like Corian®
THE SHINE COLLECTION
The minimalist lines of this Shine freestanding bath makes it my favourite and I love the light underneath which gives this bath a real wow factor.
This Shine countertop washbasin was such a pleasure to touch… It felt incredibly soft and very organic and I think, just by looking at the photo, you get a feel how smooth it feels.
THE PRIDE COLLECTION
Last but not least is the Pride series, a strikingly attractive freestanding bath will make your bathroom truly special with matching accessories.
The beautiful Penelope Cruz said that she often hides in the bathroom to check her emails while on holidays which made me smile. I would certainly spend more time in the bathroom if one of these graced my home.
