DETAILS: WHITE WOODEN BENCH

DETAILS: WHITE WOODEN BENCH

DETAILS: WHITE WOODEN BENCHAs a white interiors lover, I had this image saved in my Pinterest for ever and recently realised that the bench was from Morocco where I have been for the past 10 days and was perfect for my DETAILS series.
Last Summer, I bought a similar stool from the market in France and have been pondering since then if I should leave it raw or paint it white like above. The jury is still out but I do love the contrast of white wood against the concrete floor while I think raw wood would look great and more beachy on the deck of our holiday home in France (July is almost booked up).

If you are wondering if you should come to Marrakech, my answer to you is yes.
Marrakech has been an incredible inspiring place from an interior design point of view and I’m in awe each time I see an Artisan making beautiful wooden furniture or creating something out of copper, iron, leather or rubber. In fact, it has been such a positive experience that I’ve already booked our return for May 2017. I’ve already tagged on Instagram all the places I visited but I will do a Marrakech guide on my return to reality next week ;-)

  1. I love collecting wood-made materials at home and make it a part of my decoration. It just gives me a close to nature feels and that’s what I really want because I’m such an outdoor person and I love going out with nature. Thanks for sharing your post because it inspires me to get one for myself.
