Starting with the kitchen which was the room that first caught my eye.
The kitchen manages to combine several styles I like at once: Scandinavian, industrial, contemporary and vintage with a bit of urban jungle and yet everything is beautifully done with a great aesthetic and strong personality.
The Jieldé black lamp and the Tolix chairs bring a stylish, industrial touch to the room and if the chairs are on your wishlist, I just noticed that you can get up to £100 OFF on the chairs with promo code XMAS on La Redoute.
Similar white crockery can be found at Ikea (my favourite is the 365+ series) and The White Company which has some nice heart-shaped oven dish and heart-shaped ramekins to serve pudding and really pretty artisan stoneware plates which would be perfect for a Christmas table and then all-year long.
I also like the idea of having two sinks in the kitchen when both partners love to cook but it’s hardly the case in our home ;-) Personally I like a spacious work station when Steve and I are both in the kitchen and I’m currently making some amendments to our kitchen counter in France to achieve this.
Did I mention the herringbone flooring!? Beautiful isn’t it!?
My favourite two details in this kitchen are the floating shelving which was designed for this project but String Furniture may have similar solutions and how the Designer Marta Castilian-Mas, customised a vintage piece of furniture with a sleek, modern worktop. The whole thing makes this room so very special and unique. The dining and lounge areas are not bad either. The different models of white chairs around the dining table are from HAY but a similar look can be achieved with vintage chairs sourced on Ebay or in second-hand shops like I did for our dining room in our holiday home.
French Connection Home used to have a similar coffee table but I can no longer find it in their collection. They have, however, other gorgeous models like this marble coffee table or this striking metal coffee table.I also love the bathtub in the bedroom that feels quite luxurious. How about you? Is there any details or corner in this flat that inspires you?
Have a lovely day and if you have 2 minutes, please leave a comment…you know how much I love them ;-)
