A sure sign that it’s time for a change is when nothing fires me up enough to write and share on this blog. A blog which I have now curated for 10 years. So while in Bali, I worked on the re-branding. The idea of a magazine format has always appealed to me. After ten years, they are a lot of things that interest me and not just home decoration. I’m just as passionate about interiors as I’m about fashion, well-being, ageing gracefully, travelling, dealing with grief…you know all these things you want to share about life because they are meaningful and not just the latest pendant light or vase to have. So while the girls were jumping in the pool, I spent lots of time working and trying to figure out how to re-brand the BODIE and FOU blog. I think I have now find a design that fits the effortless, simple and minimalist interiors I like to share but which will also allow me to share with you more articles on fashion, well-being, surfing and …
I have been doing a lot of soul searching recently. Photography is becoming such a big part of my creative life, I was trying to figure out how to include in this blog.
Visiting Copenhagen is always a good idea especially when there is a new cool space to discover designed by all-time favourite Norm Architects. So if you’re planning a long weekend there, I’m inviting you to add the Menu space to your must-see list.
Hello from Bali… We are leaving Padang-Padang beach today and heading to Seminyak for a couple of days. The weather is fantastic, water clear and warm and we are having a good time. I just wanted to share with you my latest work and I would love it if you could follow my Instagram portrait page and Facebook page so more people can hear about my work. Have a great day
I had so many messages & questions on Instagram about the outfit Mila was wearing today that I’ve put the links below and the photos we took today. It was a rainy day, the girls were a bit bored and since I fainted this morning, I didn’t really have the energy to take them to explore Singapore. So instead, I taught them about posing and photography.
As you may have seen on my Instagram, we have recently gone through some refurbishment works in our home in France, taking the old and ugly fireplace down, re-plastered the walls and added beautiful, modern shelving from Tylko to increase storage. The former has been quite messy and dusty but I’m really pleased we did it. It has completely modernised and opened up the place and the Tylko shelves are the perfect final touch to our lounge.
I’m back from a girls weekend in Marrakech (which was so good on so many levels!) and I have to admit that after spending days in the souk surrounded by beautiful woven baskets and shades, hand carved wooden home accessories & furniture, the natural look is really high up in my mind to revamp our home in France. So when I received the press release from Carl Hansen & Son in my inbox, their re-edition of the CH23 chair caught my eye…
As soon as I recovered from the low blood pressure that hit me recently and let me with very little energy for three weeks, I tackled all the things I wanted to do during Mila‘s school holidays. After spending quite a bit of time in bed resting, I wanted to give our bedroom a new, fresh look for Spring so I finally unpacked the new stonewashed linen in pure white I got during my last trip in London. You can’t beat white for a fresh look, can you!!?
