Summer update

A sure sign that it’s time for a change is when nothing fires me up enough to write and share on this blog. A blog which I have now curated for 10 years. So while in Bali, I worked on the re-branding. The idea of a magazine format has always appealed to me. After ten years, they are a lot of things that interest me and not just home decoration. I’m just as passionate about interiors as I’m about fashion, well-being, ageing gracefully, travelling, dealing with grief…you know all these things you want to share about life because they are meaningful and not just the latest pendant light or vase to have. So  while the girls were jumping in the pool, I spent lots of time working and trying to figure out how to re-brand the BODIE and FOU blog. I think I have now find a design that fits the effortless, simple and minimalist interiors I like to share but which will also allow me to share with you more articles on fashion, well-being, surfing and …

Brand: VIPP Project: Limited Edition Vipp bin + pop-up shop + Blogger styling competition Date: May 2014 Country: Denmark, UK In May 2014, we collaborated with iconic Danish brand Vipp to  design a Limited edition BODIE and FOU VIPP15 bin and run a one-week pop-up store in Vipp’s showroom in Copenhagen. The bin and the BODIE and FOU new prints collection were exclusively available for sale at the Vipp showroom and online at BODIE and FOU. On the first day of the pop-up store, our Limited Edition bin was purchased by H.R.H.  Princess Marie of Denmark. In addition, we run a styling competition with some of the best International Interior bloggers. This creative collaboration and pop-up store were featured in Milk magazine, ELLE, Est, Marie-Claire Maison as well as French By Design, April & May, Vosges Paris and many more…

#MTBAMS POP-UP MARKET | AMSTERDAM

New prints by Polly Rowan

We have two very special prints in our collection…The Cactus print and the Plumes print which we styled in my home in London. 1. Industrial Clothes rail | 2. Milk Table lamp 1. Notebook | 2. Wooden stool  They are very special to us because they are the work of our very own Polly, who is BODIE and FOU PR& Marketing Assistant but also a talented Textiles Designer (check her portfolio here).I think they are gorgeous!Polly initially designed them in colours but I’ve asked her to do a monochrome version for us and I think they came out beautifully! BODIE and FOU VIPP Blogger Styling competition: PLEASE VOTE

As you know from my Instagram feed, as part of our pop-up store at the Vipp flagship store in Copenhagen, we had a blogger styling competition and it was a really fun event! With its polished concrete tiles, white and dark grey walls, beautiful kitchen and bathroom equipment and natural light flowing, the Vipp store was the perfect venue.12 International talented bloggers, 4 teams, 4 stations to style: 2 kitchens, 1 dining table, 1 bathroom, 30 min to style each station.
