Latest styling job & some happy links for the weekend….

I almost ran over a charming guy this morning near Askew Road and I say ‘charming’ because he was quite good-looking, he was wearing something very similar to a Bellfield French worker jacket (very cool) and most importantly he gave me a big smile instead of yelling at me. I spent the rest of my short drive to work thinking “Wow…what a difference a smile can make in people’s lives”.As an individual, I’ve trained myself to be/think positive and be grateful for all the little things that happen to me. I don’t always score 100% and I get very grumpy on some occasions but over the years, I’ve improved and I can pick myself up from a bad situation to look on the bright side.Thinking about this charming man was who probably, very grateful I DID NOT run him over for good, I thought I shall endeavour to smile even when a situation/person does not deserve a smile. When sharing my morning adventure with the team, Doryan (do you remember him!?) told me he was doing the same (not very surprising …

Happy thoughts for the weekend

What are you up to this weekend? We are being entertained a lot this weekend!! We are off to a friend on Saturday evening and will stay at her place for the night (she lives on an island so I’m really looking forward to see it!) and we will see more friends on Sunday lunch so I think a long walk in the park will be needed on Sunday afternoon. However Saturday afternoon, I will go through our cupboards and put Mila’s dresses and other bits & pieces up for grab in FOU’s magic cupboard. I’ve just added Mila’s lovely green rug which was featured in London Family Style by Edition Paumes when they came to shoot our home. The rug didn’t get much as Mila tend to spread her toys on the floor and in the end it was easier to take it out and store it but it has a lovely, fresh colour. Happy thoughts for the weekend….

I meant to do this post on Friday but I ran out of time. What are you up to today?I’ve just been for a little 5K run and kicked off my day with a healthy breakfast. I have been slacking for a few weeks but I need to get back into because the next few weeks in the shop are going to be a marathonLast night I realised that I was allergic to Lancôme Renergie Lift volumetry yeux – So annoyed!! Instead of reducing wrinkles and lines around my eyes, I ended up with puffy eyes looking like a Panda. So today I’m gonna explore a more natural way with brands like Origins, Kieh’ls, Aesop and get a few samples before committing to a brand. Which product are you using for wrinkles around your eyes? This week I loved….discovering Les Carnets Parisiens which made my day! Gorgeous, gorgeous food styling! taking part in this fabulous online auction, pulling the names of 3 winners for this competitionand this afternoon, I may take my mum to We Make London at Spitafields market.Have a great Sunday xoxo{Thank you for leaving a …

MT masking tapes | Clip on light | Paris map print | Plexiglas picture frame | Hanging slate heart |  Mima Le Chat print | Rabbit lamp | What are you up to this weekend? Tonight, we are off to a dinner party at my friend’s place. Emma is Swedish, gorgeous, has three beautiful girls, a full time job and still manage to run on a weekly basis. Each time I see her, I feel inspired!Mila will stay there for a sleepover. I don’t know if it is a city thing, because I don’t remember having so many playdates and sleepovers when I was young, growing up in the countryside but I think it’s great for the girls to have so many playdates and sleepovers. It can only improve their social skills and independence. My brother is now back in London so on Saturday, we are going to do some photos together on Saturday. I’m very excited because our last shoot together was for the catalogue this Summer when we shot this workspace. And now that the …
