My Styling work

Natural bedroom styling in France

October 26, 2015

Natural bedroom styling in France. Read on www.karinecandicekong.comA few weeks ago, I updated the styling of one of the bedrooms in this holidays home which you can rent via Airbnb. Bearing in mind that the house is for sale and I can’t give it too much of a strong identity so everyone visiting it, can project their own style, I have decided to leave the walls white and add small styling touches to create a happy vibe.

This was an inexpensive styling job (only about 15 euros for the stretched canvas), a few tear sheets, my BE HAPPY print, some family photos and quotes found on Pinterest.

Black & white styling from the Makelight workshop

January 11, 2015

Black & white styling by www.karinecandicekong.comOn Saturday, I attended a photography workshop run by Emily Quinton and what a treat it was. I have meant to pick up my camera again for some times now but I was quite disappointed by the course I took last year at the London School of Photography and being too busy with the shop I put it off for another year.

A relaxed white & grey bedroom

We have a new hue in our linen collection called Cloud grey…dreamy isn’t it!? I just want to spend the rest of the day in this room. What do you think? Shall we have a cup of tea, GF free brownies and a chat?

New prints by Polly Rowan

June 18, 2014

We have two very special prints in our collectionThe Cactus print and the Plumes print which we styled in my home in London.

They are very special to us because they are the work of our very own Polly, who is BODIE and FOU PR& Marketing Assistant but also a talented Textiles Designer (check her portfolio here).
I think they are gorgeous!
Polly initially designed them in colours but I’ve asked her to do a monochrome version for us and I think they came out beautifully! What do you think? Which one do you love the most?
