I’m in Paris this week to portrait shoot two beautiful women (see Iris here) and go to LOVE/ETC, a wedding show which I find very inspiring.
I’m not in the market for a wedding neither do I want to shoot weddings but from a styling and concept point of view, I think LOVE/ETC has a great deal of inspiration and creativity to offer and there is also a lot of Photographers I love like Chloé, Yoris and many more.
If you are planning your wedding soon, it’s the perfect place to find the most creative people from wedding dress Designers, make-up Artists, wedding Photographers, DJs, video makers, etc.
Mine started nicely with a power walk listening to Louise Hay (has any of you started listening to her!? If you have, please let me know what you think) and then I took Mila to the gym so she could practice for her competition in a couple of weeks.
As You Like magazine is a women’s magazine dedicated to the new e-generation and regularly draws profiles of Digital Influencers, Bloggers, Vloggers etc….I mean, how far have we all come as a profession to have a magazine just dedicated to all the inspiring people we find online, it’s incredible and it gives me so much hope for the next generation of women, our girls, to create something new.
Anyway, this gives me the opportunity to practice the art of flatlay which I find tricky :-)
I just came back from shooting my Artist friend Perrine Fifadji (check the African Queen visual story) while she was performing at La Mediathèque of Mérignac. It was a great experience as she has an amazing voice…
The pictures will be used for her press kit which is very exciting but after going through 300 pictures, all I want now is my bed…
We have a new cute addition on our bedside table which I’m looking forward to using outside this Summer.
I also don’t think I had shared with you our new floor…
We got rid of the sisal carpetwhich was nice but after 10 years, I fancied a change and painted the floor with hardwearing parking paint…well so we were told. I think it’s not hardwearing as I would love it to be but it’s definitively easier to clean and it looks more modern and was not as expensive as the resin floor we did in our home in London.
As you may know, Steve and I are off to a biking road trip to Portugal in February so the house is available for rent from 18th February to 03rd March 2017. If you are interested, drop me a line.
Disclosure: Photography & styling by me, the light was supplied by Fatboy.
